I was glad when I came across this book. I have been annoyed at the amount of background noise that can be heard on my audio recordings. I thought that I needed to convert a room to achieve a better result. I'm not really capable when it comes to using a hammer, nails, screws and anything building so was really unsure where to start...
After discovering this book by Ian King, I saw a simpler, cost effective solution. Ian explains really simply, breaking down each step, in a way that I could understand. I appreciated the detail he uses, even with photographs, it helped me to understand what he was explaining.
Ian also highlights where we you can save money and where not to compromise on quality. This is all explained and he uses his experience to justify the reasoning for using certain products.
I would recommend this book for anyone who is wanting to create a space where you are wanting to create a high quality audio product. If you are like me, price conscious and have limited building knowledge, you will not be disappointed with the knowledge and ability you gain from Ian's cost effective and simple directions. (Regan)
